New Podcast!

After what seemed like Big Illustration Party Time has somewhat pod-faded, I've decided to work on a solo podcast "Examined Life of an Illustrator." It takes a while for these things to publish on itunes, so for now, you can check out the show by going to http://www.examinedillustration.blogspot.com/ and listening to it by selecting Episode 1 in the sidebar there.

It's a bit different recording one of these on your own, so it might take a while for me to get used to the format. Either way, I'd love to hear what you guys think about it, and get suggestions you might have.

In other news, it looks like I'll be moving back to California by the end of April. Although I love Portland, it'll be good to re-unite with old friend, family, and Mai and I will be hunting for future places to live... Right now we're thinking either Santa Ana's Artwalk, somewhere in the better area of Long Beach, or possibly Burbank... Any suggestions?

Ed, thanks, and I hope you enjoy it... It'll take a bit of time for me to feel comfortable hosting alone, so, hope you'll keep with the show :) I'm moving because my fiance missed her family and wants to live closer to them, and I'm respecting that. Hope this episode gets you charged about illustration as well!

Yeah its really great to have you back Josh, you've been sorely missed from the podwaves. Had no idea BIPT was no more we'd just guessed you guys were busy with work and life. Good call on the Simon and Garfunkel too!
Best wishes, Dylan White

BIPT... changed the way I think, and I learned alot from the series. I will follow your new endeavor, as I know others will. Keep doing what you do, it is appreciated and respected.

I am really looking forward to your new podcast. Loved BIPT, but I guess all great podcasts must come to an end. Good luck with the new one!

Josh,
I am bummed about BIPT. When I jumped (or pushed as I was laid-off) into the freelance pool I had no idea what to do. You guys helped keep me focused and also eased the lonely feeling of working in a no-window office. Thanks and I'm glad you're back in the Podcast world!
